Larry King is a idiot unworthy of (t)his post

It's going to be kind of hard to pull together all of Larry King's idiocy into a cohesive post. The Daily Kos put together some of his highlights here, but that was a few years ago and I'm here to tell you: there's no reason to stop the hate train just yet. He's still the same man who has obviously lost his desire to research his guests and he is verging on senility, yet he still is allowed to impose his influence on CNN. This isn't so much a dig at Larry King as it is an indictment of media in general and the powers that be at CNN. I don't know who those people are so I'll just throw my stones at Larry King. Here we go:

Larry King has stated that he has never used the internet. My Grandmother has used the internet, Larry.. Maybe you think you are betraying your old media roots if you go online but at least you will be able to know who will be appearing on your show. It is exactly this kind of flagrant and proud anti-intellectualism that has stunted the growth of this great country for the last eight years.

Larry didn't know and could not pronoun Misogynistic. Look, I know you are getting old Larry and misogyny wasn't exactly a concept that was prevalent during the Mesozoic era, but you are a "professional" newsman and to make a comment like, "this is a new word to me" gives credence to anyone who doesn't feel like misogyny exists.

Larry's lack of knowledge knows no bounds when it comes to transgender issues. We can sum it up with this interaction with the pregnant man:
KING: I sound like a dummy, trying to figure it out, right?

THOMAS BEATIE: Basically.

I cannot stand people who are lazy or stupid and it sounds like Larry King is becoming exactly that in his old age. These are not people to be celebrated. They should be dethrowned and their jobs should be given to people with the drive to know how to do them. Only through hard work will we find truth and blah blah blah!

My gears are getting a little grinded down so you know what? Just type "Larry King Idiot" into the google machine and it should give you all the examples you need of his idiocy. I'm just sorry that someone hasn't put him out of his misery yet. And seriouly! What's with those wierd shoulders all hunched forward? Why does he do that?!

Sorry to pile on (actually you'll find it's something we like to do here and will do often) but I must leave you with this. Seinfeld ripping into Larry for his poor research or otherwise poorly worded question. During this short clip he utters what I'm sure millions across the globe are asking themselves right now: "Is this still CNN?!"
